Steps to Assume Ownership After Winning a Car at Auction
1. Delivery
Every vehicle is delivered.
- To arrange your delivery, log in to your Remarket Space account, find your personalized delivery quote, and accept it to confirm. Once accepted, we'll handle all transport.
- Power Buyers (licensed dealers and buyers with 3 or more completed purchases) get priority same-day delivery at standard delivery rates.
2. Complete Payment Within 2 Business Days
Payment is due within 2 business days after the auction ends.
- Pay online by credit or debit card in your Remarket Space account.
- Confirm your card's single-transaction and daily limits with your bank before you pay. This is the most common reason a payment is declined.
- Late payment fees and automatic relisting timelines are outlined in our Late Payment Fees article.
3. Delivery Day
- Keys: your keys come with the vehicle.
- Temporary tags: emailed to you.
- License plates: either in the vehicle when it's delivered or mailed to you within 2 weeks.
4. Title Timing
Title delivery time depends on your location:
- Minnesota buyers: titles arrive within 1–3 months.
- Out-of-state buyers and dealers: titles arrive within 31 days.
