Understanding Remarket Space Late Payment and Storage Fees

At Remarket Space, we understand that life can get busy, and paying for or picking up your vehicle might not always go as planned. To help you avoid unexpected costs, we’ve outlined our late payment fees and storage fees. Our goal is to ensure transparency, so you know exactly what to expect.

 Late Payment Fees (Per Vehicle, Business Days)

When you purchase a vehicle at Remarket Space, you have two business days to complete payment — no late fees during this grace period. Here's the full day-by-day breakdown:

  • First 2 business days: No late payment fees — this is your grace period.
  • Day 3: A $25 late fee applies. Your vehicle is automatically relisted on Day 3. If it sells to another buyer before you complete payment, a relist fee is required to reactivate your account.
  • Day 4: An additional $25 is charged, totaling $50.
  • Day 5: The fee rises by $35, bringing the total to $85.
  • Day 6: Another $35 is added, making the total $115.
  • After Day 6: The vehicle is no longer available to you, and your account requires a relist fee to reactivate. See our Relist Fee Policy for how that fee is calculated.

Storage Fees (Power Buyers Only, Business Days)

Storage fees apply to Power Buyers only. All other buyers receive delivery and are not subject to storage fees — unless a specific exception is noted in the vehicle's auction listing.

If you're a Power Buyer and can't pick up right away, you get three free business days. After that:

  • First 3 business days: No storage fees — free storage period.
  • Day 4: Storage begins at $10/day (total $10).
  • Day 5: Fees increase to $15/day (total $25).
  • Day 6: A fee of $20/day applies (total $45).
  • Day 7: Storage rises to $25/day (total $70).
  • Day 8: An additional $25/day is charged (total $95).
  • Day 9: The storage fee reaches a total of $120, with $25/day continuing.
  • Day 10 and beyond: Storage fees increase to $35/day. This rate continues indefinitely until the vehicle is picked up or the 90-day lot limit is reached.

Important: Vehicles left on our lot for more than 90 days may be sold. Remarket Space reserves the right to sell any vehicle stored beyond this period without additional notice.

Why These Fees Matter

Understanding late payment and storage fees helps you plan payments and pickups, stay informed about your obligations, and avoid account suspension or vehicle loss by hitting your deadlines.

Summary

Late Payment: free for the first 2 business days, escalating to $115 by Day 6. After Day 6 the vehicle is no longer available to you and a relist fee is required to reactivate your account.

Storage Fees (Power Buyers only): free for the first 3 business days, then escalating daily. Vehicles left on our lot for more than 90 days may be sold.
